This year we have worked on Oscar Wilde in the Cultural Week and the Book Day, probably the best Irish writer ever. The
proposal included classroom activities and short tiered activities to
expose the other students what they worked at class. We learnt a briefly
biography of the author and every level focused on scenes of his most
famous works. If you are willing tocheck out your knowledge, click here
We also aproacched to Ireland, another English speaker country, and its culture and customs. In English and Music classes we learnt about Molly Malone and in Physical Education, we practiced three original sports from that island, Hurling, Galeic Football and Road Bowling.
Michael Vontsolos, our language assistant, guided the presentation of works with a short speech about him and with the help of pre-school students. You can check out our final performance clicking here or on the picture below.
