OUR TOWN IN 2nd LEVEL

Second level students have built their own city for the final task of unit 1 of Social Science called Our Town. In this unit they have learned about the different towns, cities and the most important buildings where they can go and what they can do in them. Teachers Hiniesta y Paqui Quintero.

VISIT FROM SERBIA

Hi everyone!

The last Thursday we had a very interesting visit from another country, Serbia to be exact. Three teachers from a Primary School in Belgrado, Vasa Caravic, came to visit us because they also are a bilingual Primary School in their country and they wanted to check out our system, methods and ways to teach, that ones may improve their own skills.

That school is involved in a K2 project with our High School Torre del Rey, and they were observing classes there for a week, getting in touch with Spanish bilingual teachers and checking out the differencies and similarities about their Learning and Teaching process and ours. In this way, Alicia Anton, the bilingual coordinator in High School, proposed us to spend one morning, sharing knowledge and information in order to compare the two different systems.

They had the oportunity to watch Physical Education and Sciences classes in different levels, taking notes and questioning all of doubts they could have. The three teachers also enjoyed visiting other classes like Pre-School or Specific Classroom. 

It was an extraordinay experience to show them our methodology and talk about bilingualism in a friendly way. Both schools, Torre del Rey and Vasa Caravic, congratulated us for our hospitality and our job. It was a pleasure, thanks for visiting us!!

CELLS IN 5th GRADE

Hello everyone! Our students in fifth level have been working on Cells at natural science. As a final project, they have made a CELL MODEL with recycled materials. Plus, they have also made an oral presentation in class. I am very impressed with all their hard work!!!! 

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!! KEEP WORKING HARD ;)
