AULA DJAQUE

Hello everyone

I would like to present the educational innovation program called “AULA DJAQUE”, in which our 5th grade students have participated. This program exposes the benefits of teaching chess to students as an educational tool. For this reason, the school is the propitious place for their learning and practice. Chess as a game, sport and logical-mathematical activity is a hobby that encourages students to develop mental skills and abilities, it provides them with reflective and analytical thinking that, applied to daily life, improves concentration, reasoning and logical calculation.

In our program we have included the development of chess material with recyclable elements in the “arts & crafts subject” and its learning through digital media in the computer room, among other things. Teacher Iñigo López

Hi again, the another great Language Assistant Stephanie Langendoerfer tells us a fair tale in quarantine times, to help our youngest students to learn some English vocabulary in a funny way.

Victor's quarantine

Hi students, how are you? We hope you are fine.
Our great Language and Culture assistant Víctor Morales gives us some advices in this lockdown because of the Corona Virus. He is still in Spain, in Alcalá del Río to be exact, and tries to endure this bad context as good as possible. Click on the picture and enjoy his video ;)

VOLLEY AT HOME

Hi everyone. We hope you are safe and sound. Our students from third cycle were playing volley at home, as part of Pysical Education unit. It was a task created due to COVID19 crisis.
